How Does It Work?
The RDX QuikStor uses backup technology inc hard drives, to provide flexibility
and archive in one unit. The drive takes tape-sized hard disks which are easily
accessed by the computer; either drag-and-drop files onto the disk, or run the
provided backup software for a total backup of your hard drive. The miniature
hard disk is then rugged enough to be taken off site for safe archiving of data,
or instantly transferring files to another computer.
How Much Data Will It Hold?
Each disk is designed to hold either 40,
80 or 120GB of data, transferring up to 160GB per hour and therefore giving
customers the power to backup their entire computer. Access is near-instant,
allowing the user to work directly inc data on the cartridge, just as they would
with any other hard-drive. |
