Available in VXA 172 and 320 forms, the VXA Storageloader comes in a compact 1U form factor and is rackmountable. It is easy to upgrade from VXA-172 to VXA-320 and the unit comes with a barcode reader as standard.

The Tandberg StorageLibrary T40 was created with flexibility in mind – flexibility over media with easy cartridge management; flexibility over operations via in-built partitioning that enables it to work as one to four separate autoloaders; plus flexibility to combine Half Height and Full Height drives according to requirements. Capacity on Demand increases the versatility of this library still further, allowing users to easily increase usable capacity as their data grows. When it comes to enterprise management, the StorageLibrary T40 has a user-friendly interface for system setup, control and monitoring. It comes with an integrated barcode reader, remote management features, Export/Import slot, Customer Replaceable Units, drive hot swapping; notification via SNMP support/tape alert/email notification; audible alarm and real time clock functions as standard.

The Tandberg StorageLibrary T40+ and T80+ tape libraries are a professional backup and data protection solution, providing maximum performance and scalable capacities. It  incorporates the new Pass-Thru feature, allowing you to add additional drives and storage capacity as and when you need it. The Pass-Thru feature will allow up to five T40+ units to be stacked together or 3 units to be added to the T80+, stacked together in a 19” rack configuration.

The StorageLoader uses the Tandberg 420LTO tape drive. This LTO-2 half-height drive offers the lowest power consumption (18W) of any LTO tape drive, its unique airflow design minimizes heat dissipation throughout the drive for greater reliability and increased MTBF. Tandberg's "smart gripper" technology securely locks the media leader pit to help insure positive tape loading. These, and other, advanced features provide a highly reliable StorageLoader design.

The Tandberg 2U Autoloaders are based on the leading, established record standards LTO and SDLT. Models are available with the LTO3, SDLT320 and SDLT600 Tape Drives.
